Fraud Investigations - The First 48 hours

Date           :  Wednesday, 1 October 2014

Time         :  12.00 - 2.00pm

Venue       :  Training Room, Intellioffices, Level 3, 146 Robinson Road, Singapore 068909

Speakers :  Mr Jason Liew

When a potential fraud surfaces, how a company behaves in the first 48 hours is crucial. Inappropriate decisions at this stage can lead to wasted time and effort, lost or damaged evidence, incomplete findings and the need to re-perform parts of the investigation. Dealing effectively with fraud can mean the difference between the continued growth of your business and substantial damage to its reputation and financial position. This presentation is an examination of the various factors to be taken into account when managing an internal investigation, developing a suitable plan of action and how to collect evidence, and conduct interviews. Jason will also share real life case studies to illustrate the challenges faced when undertaking investigations.

As such, Senior Management now expect their legal departments to not only reduce costs, drive improvement and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment, but also add value to the company.  This session will be moderated by Anna Pearson.
